Overview

To access your WePay transaction data, we'll need you to invite us as a member on your WePay account. Setup takes about 2 minutes.

What You'll Need

Access to your WePay account with permissions to add members

Setup Instructions

  1. Log into your WePay account.
  2. Click Settings on the left.
  3. Scroll down to the Members section and select Add additional member to your account.
  4. In the text box next to the Invite button, enter the following:
    • Email Address: thirdpartylogins+your.business.name@bench.co
  5. Click Invite.

Please message your bookkeeper to let them know this has been completed, as the email invite link is not a monitored email.

What To Expect After Setup

Our team will receive the invitation and accept it — typically within one business day. No further action is needed on your end.

Troubleshooting

  • I don't see the "Members" section in Settings.
    You may not have account owner permissions. Check with whoever originally set up your WePay account.
  • I'm not sure what to use for the email address.
    Replace your.business.name with your actual business name, no spaces. For example, if your business is Maple Goods, the email would be thirdpartylogins+maple.goods@bench.co. Your bookkeeper can confirm the exact format.
