Overview

Setting up a third-party login for TouchBistro gives your Bench bookkeeping team view-only access to your TouchBistro Merchant Portal. This allows your bookkeeper to download payout reports and transaction details on your behalf so you don't have to manually pull and upload them each month.

What You'll Need

1. Access to your TouchBistro Merchant Portal with administrator permissions

2. The Third Party Login email address for your business. This is thirdpartylogins+business.name@bench.co, please replace "business.name" with your business' name.

Setup Instructions

1. Log in to your TouchBistro Cloud as an Admin

2. If you have access to multiple locations, use the ’Select a venue’ drop-down box to select which venue you want to give us access to

3. Under Staff, open 'Staff Members' or 'Staff List', then click 'Add'.

4. Enter the following information:
Email Address: thirdpartylogins+business.name@bench.co
First Name (if required): Bench
Last Name (if required): Accounting

5. Select ‘Analyst’ as the ’Role’

6. Confirm the correct venue is selected under the Venue drop-down menu.

7. Click ’Save’

8. Message your bookkeeper to let them know this has been completed as the email invite link is not a monitored email.

What To Expect After Setup

Once your bookkeeper confirms access, they'll be able to pull your TouchBistro reports directly, no action needed from you going forward. If anything changes with your TouchBistro account (such as a password update or a change in permissions), let your bookkeeper know so they can adjust accordingly.

Troubleshooting

I'm not sure what to use for the email address.

  • Replace your.business.name with your actual business name, no spaces. For example, if your business is Maple Goods, the email would be thirdpartylogins+maple.goods@bench.co. Your bookkeeper can confirm the exact format.
