Overview

Setting up a third-party login for Sezzle gives your Bench bookkeeping team view-only access to your Sezzle Portal. This allows your bookkeeper to download payouts and sales reports on your behalf so you don't have to manually pull and upload them each month.

What You'll Need

The Third Party Login email address for your business. This is thirdpartylogins+[your.business.name]@bench.co, please replace "your.business.name" with your business' name, all as one word or with periods between words.*

Setup Instructions

1. Log into your Sezzle account

2. Click the following link: https://dashboard.sezzle.com/merchant/invite-user/  

3. Enter the following details:

                    Email Address: thirdpartylogins+[your.business.name]@bench.co

                    First Name: Bench

                    Last Name: Accounting

4. Click ‘Send Invite’

5. Message your bookkeeper in the Bench message feed that you have completed these steps

What To Expect After Setup

Your bookkeeper will receive an email invite and complete the setup process

Troubleshooting

I'm not sure what to use for the email address.

Replace your.business.name with your actual business name, no spaces. For example, if your business is Maple Goods, the email would be thirdpartylogins+maple.goods@bench.co. Your bookkeeper can confirm the exact format.

The invite link isn't working.

Make sure you're logged into your Sezzle Merchant Dashboard first, then try the link again. If it still doesn't load, navigate manually through your dashboard settings or reach out to your bookkeeper.

I don't have permission to invite users.

Check with whoever originally set up your Sezzle merchant account — they may need to grant you admin access or send the invite themselves.
