Setting up a third-party login gives your Bench bookkeeping team view-only access to your Santander Bank portal. This allows your bookkeeper to download statements and transaction details on your behalf so you don't have to manually pull and upload them each month.
1. For this login set up please book in time with your bookkeeper or reach out in the Bench message feed to set up a call
2. Login access with view only access to account activity and statements

1. Log into your Santander Bank online banking
2. Select the 'Customer Service' tab
3. Select the 'Admin' Tab
4. Select 'Manage Users', and there should be an option to add users.
5. Use the following credentials:
6. Assign 'View-Only' access to 'Statements and Checks' for all relevant accounts
7. To complete setup, your specialist/bookkeeper will send you a temporary password through the phone number provided
Once you send the invitation, our team will receive and accept it — and talk with you to complete set up by providing a temporary password. You'll see Bench Accountant listed under Administration once we've accepted. We'll only have view-level access and cannot make purchases, payments, or account changes.
I don't know my Bench ID.
This is the number that appears after /client/ in your browser's address bar when you're logged into Bench. For example, if your URL is app.bench.co/client/33248/..., your Bench ID is 33248. If you're unsure, your bookkeeper can provide it.
