Rippling

Overview

To access your Rippling payroll data, our team will send you an access request through Rippling's Command Center. This grants us accountant-level access with partial permissions — enough to view your payroll reports for bookkeeping, without the ability to make changes. All you need to do is approve the request.

What You'll Need

  • Access to your Rippling account with permissions to approve third-party access requests
  • The email address associated with your Rippling account (your bookkeeper will ask for this)
  • Setup Instructions

    1. Your bookkeeper will let you know once the access request has been sent.
    2. Log into your Rippling account.
    3. You should see a pending request from Bench Accounting. Review the details and confirm the request to grant access.

That's it — no credentials to enter or permissions to configure on your end.

    What To Expect After Setup

Once you've approved the request, our team will have immediate access to your Rippling account with partial accountant permissions. No further action is needed.

    Troubleshooting

  • I don't see a pending access request.
It may not have been sent yet — check with your bookkeeper to confirm. Also make sure you're logged into the Rippling account associated with the email you provided.
  • I'm not sure which email is tied to my Rippling account.
Check your Rippling login or reach out to whoever originally set up your account. Let your bookkeeper know once you've confirmed it.
  • I'm uncomfortable with "accountant" access.
The permission level is Accountant (partial access), which is a read-only role limited to payroll and financial reports. It does not include the ability to make changes to your account or employee records.
