Setting up a third-party login for Ramp gives your Bench bookkeeping team view-only access to your Ramp Business Account. This allows your bookkeeper to download statements and transaction details on your behalf so you don't have to manually pull and upload them each month.
Ramp does not connect to PLAID at this current time.
1. Log in to Ramp online banking
2. On the left hand menu, click ‘Company' and then the ‘People’ sub-option
3. Click ‘Invite People’ in the top right corner
4. Select ‘Bookkeeper’ as the role
5. Enter the following information:
6. Click ‘Send Invite’
7. Message your bookkeeper to let them know this has been completed as the email invite link is not a monitored email.
Once setup is complete, our team will finalize the new user profile and complete the first-time login process—typically within one business day. After access has been activated, you should see ‘Bench Accounting’ listed in your Business Online Banking users.
I'm not sure what to use for the email address.
Replace your.business.name with your actual business name, no spaces. For example, if your business is Maple Goods, the email would be thirdpartylogins+maple.goods@bench.co. Your bookkeeper can confirm the exact format.
If you are having trouble setting up Bench can request access our side and you can accept it that way
