Overview

Setting up a third-party login for Lending Club Bank gives your Bench bookkeeping team view-only access to your Lending Club Bank Account(s). This allows your bookkeeper to download statements and view check details on your behalf so you don't have to manually upload them each month.

Troubleshooting

If the invitation email never arrives:

Then resend the invite from:

  • Access Manager
  • User Management
  • Additional Users

If the invite link says expired:

Many banking invite links expire quickly.

Usually, the fix is:

  1. Delete the pending user
  2. Recreate the user
  3. Send a fresh invitation

If we can’t see statements:

This is the most common permission issue.

Verify:

  • They were assigned Viewer role
  • Statement access was included
  • The account itself is selected under permissions
  • The statement period has already generated

Sometimes the user can:

  • See transactions
  • But not PDFs

If so, the admin may need to toggle additional document permissions.
