By setting up access to your Heartland Payroll account, we can pull in documentation and make adjustments on our end of things without requiring the upload of documentation from your end of things.
• Inform your bookkeeper that you are using Heartland Payroll and you would like to set up third-party reports-only access
• Provide your bookkeeper with your Heartland Client Number
• Your bookkeeper will send you a form with information to be signed (digitally) and submitted to Heartland Payroll
• Once that's submitted to Heartland, they will submit to your bookkeeper a temporary password that they will then use to set up the account from their end of things
After successful setup of the account, your bookkeeper can go in and generate the reports required to complete any payroll adjustments needed for the completion of your bookkeeping.
