Fairwinds Credit Union

Overview

To ensure we can access your Fairwinds Credit Union Business banking statements accurately and securely, we'll need you to set up an authorized user on your account. This gives our team view-only access to your account activity and statements, nothing more. It's a one-time setup that typically takes about 10 minutes.

What You'll Need

  • A Fairwinds Credit Union Business online banking account
  • Access to the account owner's login credentials
  • Admin-level permissions to add authorized users

Setup Instructions

  1. In the navigation menu, click or tap ‘Manage Users’ and select ‘Add/Edit Users’ from the dropdown menu
  2. The User Management page will appear. Click or tap ‘Add User
  3. The ‘New User’ page will appear. Fill in the following information:
  • First Name: Bench
  • Last Name: Accounting
  • Email Address: thirdpartylogins+business.name@bench.co
  • Phone Country: USA
  • Phone: 6504660173
  • Login ID: Bench(benchID)

If you're unsure, your bookkeeper can provide it.

  1. Click ‘Save New User Details
  2. Under ‘Transactions,’ click ‘Enable’ and then select ‘View Online Activity’
  3. Click Accounts to open the account access section. All business accounts should be listed here.
  4. For each of your business accounts, click ‘View
  5. Click 'Save'
  6. Message your bookkeeper to let them know this has been completed as the email invite link is not a monitored email

What To Expect After Setup

Once your bookkeeper confirms access, they'll be able to pull your Fairwinds Credit Union reports directly, no action needed from you going forward. If anything changes with your Fairwinds account (such as a password update or a change in permissions), let your bookkeeper know so they can adjust accordingly

Troubleshooting

What is my Bench ID?
Your Bench ID is the number that appears after /client/ in your browser's address bar when you're logged into Bench. For example, if your URL is app.bench.co/client/12345/..., your Bench ID is 12345, and you'd enter bench12345.

I'm not sure what to use for the email address.
Replace your.business.name with your actual business name, no spaces. For example, if your business is Maple Goods, the email would be thirdpartylogins+maple.goods@bench.co. Your bookkeeper can confirm the exact format.
