Setting up a third-party login for Converge gives your Bench bookkeeping team view-only access to your Converge Portal. This allows your bookkeeper to download payout reports and transaction details on your behalf so you don't have to manually pull and upload them each month.

‍• Have User Management permissions in Converage

• Your Bench ID

1. Log into your Converge account

2. Select Employees from the left-hand men

3. Click 'Create New Employee'

4. Enter the following information:

UserID: bench[benchID]

Password: [Set up a temporary password and send through the Bench app message feed for security]

First Name: Bench

Last Name: Accounting

Email: thirdpartylogins+business.name@bench.co

Supervisor: (select main account admin)

7. Open the User Rights tab.

7. Select 'Batch,' then click 'View' (it should turn green). Make sure the other tabs are deselected/shown in gray

8. Under Card Manager (tokenization), enable View access only.

9. Click 'Save' at the bottom of the page

After you have informed your bookkeeper, they will finish the setup on their end. Once access is confirmed, they'll be able to pull your Converge reports directly, no action needed from you going forward.

I can't find my Bench ID
Your Bench ID is the number that appears after /client/ in your browser's address bar when you're logged into Bench. For example, if your URL is app.bench.co/client/12345/..., your Bench ID is 12345, and you'd enter bench12345.

• If you're unsure, your bookkeeper can provide it.

I'm not sure what to use for the email address.
‍Replace your.business.name with your actual business name, no spaces. For example, if your business is Maple Goods, the email would be thirdpartylogins+maple.goods@bench.co. Your bookkeeper can confirm the exact format.
