Overview

To streamline your bookkeeping process, please add our team as an accountant user on your Carta account. This provides us with limited, view-only access to download statements and reports directly, reducing the need for monthly manual uploads and follow-up requests.

What You'll Need

  • Corporate Domain: You must use a work email domain (e.g., @yourcompany.com). Public domains like @gmail.com or @yahoo.com are not supported.
  • Plan Eligibility: Ensure your account is on the Scale plan or higher.
  • IdP Information: You will need to use an OIDC supported provider (such as Okta or Microsoft Entra)
  • Setup Instructions

  • Contact Your Account Team: Reach out to your Carta Customer Success Manager (CSM) or the support team to request that SSO be enabled on your account.
  • Configure Identity Provider (IdP): Set up the Carta application in your identity management provider (e.g., Okta, Rippling).
  • Provide Metadata: You will need to share your IdP's OIDC metadata with Carta. (example: Okta, Microsoft Entra)
  • Verify and Test: Once configured, your team can use their company credentials to log in
  • What To Expect After Setup

If you are not on the Scale plan, you cannot set up corporate SSO. However, you are required to set up Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for added security.

    • Authenticator apps: Google Authenticator, Authy, or 1Password.
    • SMS text messages
