Setting up a third-party login for Booker gives your Bench bookkeeping team view-only access to your Booker Merchant Portal. This allows your bookkeeper to download payout reports and transaction details on your behalf so you don't have to manually pull and upload them each month.
1. Access to your Booker Merchant Portal with administrator access
2. Version 1 or 2 of the Booker software package. For more information on what your subscription includes, please review the following articles:

How do I know what account version I have?
1. Log into your Booker account
2. Go to 'System Settings,’ then click on ’Logins’
3. Click on the 'New User’ button
4. Enter the following information:
• First Name: Bench
• Last Name: Accounting
• Accounting Email: thirdpartylogins+business.name@bench.co
• Role: Reporting Locations: Select locations relevant to your bookkeeping
• Username: bench[benchID]
• Password: [Set up a temporary password and send through the Bench app message feed for security]
• Allow Universal Login: Yes
• User must change password next login: Yes
5. Click ‘Submit’ to finalize
Once your bookkeeper confirms access, they'll be able to pull your Booker reports directly, with no further action needed from you. If anything changes with your Booker account (such as a password update or a change in permissions), let your bookkeeper know so they can adjust accordingly.
• Your Bench ID is the number that appears after /client/ in your browser's address bar when you're logged into Bench. For example, if your URL is app.bench.co/client/12345/..., your Bench ID is 12345, and you'd enter bench12345.
• When inputting an email address, replace your.business.name with your actual business name, no spaces. For example, if your business is Maple Goods, the email would be thirdpartylogins+maple.goods@bench.co.
