Overview
To ensure we can access your Amegy Business banking statements accurately and securely, we'll need you to set up an authorized user on your account. This gives our team view-only access to your account activity and statements, nothing more. It's a one-time setup that typically takes about 10 minutes.
What You'll Need
- An Amegy Business online banking account
- Access to the account owner's login credentials
- Admin-level permissions to add authorized users
- Your temporary login ID and password
Setup Instructions
- Log in to Amegy Bank online banking
- Click on the 'Admin' Tab near the top of your screen
- For Login ID and Temporary password, enter the following credentials:
- Login ID: bench[clientID]
- Temporary password: B00ks$2023
- For Additional information, enter the following credentials:
- Name: Bench Bookkeeping
- Language: English
- User Status: Active
- Under the 'User Access' section, leave System administrator unchecked. Access will be controlled via custom entitlements in the steps below
- For "User Access" click 'Custom'
- Under the 'Account Entitlements' section, select "Custom" on all relevant accounts
- For each business account, under the 'Information and Reporting header, select the box "Online Statements"
- Message your bookkeeper to let them know this has been completed as the email invite link is not a monitored email
What To Expect After Setup
Once your bookkeeper confirms access, they'll be able to pull your Amegy reports directly, no action needed from you going forward. If anything changes with your Amegy account (such as a password update or a change in permissions), let your bookkeeper know so they can adjust accordingly
Troubleshooting
I'm not sure what to use for the email address.
Replace your.business.name with your actual business name, no spaces. For example, if your business is Maple Goods, the email would be thirdpartylogins+maple.goods@bench.co. Your bookkeeper can confirm the exact format.
