How to contact your Bookkeeper

Click on the messages icon on the right top corner of your Bench app

A message feed will slide out from the right hand side
Type and send your message to your bookkeeper. They will get back to you within one business day.

Book a Call with your Bookkeeper

Click on the book a call icon on the right top corner of your Bench app

A popup window will appear with your bookkeeper’s calendar

Select your timezone at the bottom of the popup window
Select a date and time that works for you
Enter your contact information and select “Schedule Event”
A email will be sent to you confirming your call
Your bookkeeper will give you a call at the scheduled time

How to contact your Bench Tax Advisor

If you subscribe to our Bookkeeping & Tax Plan, you can reach out to your Bench Tax Advisor year round.

Head to the ‘Tax Center' section and then click the ‘Tax Filing and Advisory’ button.

Next, click the Book a Call button. This will open up a link to your Bench Tax Advisor's meeting booker. Select a day and time that’s suitable for you.

Contacting your Bench Tax Advisor during Tax Season

During the Tax Season months of February through April, and September through October, Bench Tax Advisors' calendars fill up quickly as they are supporting customers with filing their tax returns. This may mean that you might not be able to find available time for a few weeks

Here’s what we recommend:

Book appointments early to secure your spot
If you have something urgent, please email your Bench Tax Advisor so that they can determine how to fit you in for an earlier call
