We are excited to work with you and get started on your bookkeeping. Our goal is to take the stress out of managing your finances so you can focus on running your business with confidence.
Getting Started
Before we dive in, you'll go through our onboarding process. This ensures your account is set up correctly, and we have everything we need to keep your books IRS-compliant.
Here’s what to expect:
- Sign up & complete your Account Setup Form – After purchasing Bench, you’ll receive an Account Setup Form in your email. Please complete this within 2 days.
- Meet your onboarding specialist – Once you fill out the Account Setup Form, your onboarding specialist will send you a task list.
- Connect your accounts & upload documents – Securely link your financial accounts and provide any necessary paperwork.
- Onboarding review – Your specialist will check that everything is in place. If anything is missing, they’ll follow up with the next steps.
- Meet your bookkeeping team! – Depending on your plan, you'll be assigned a bookkeeper for historical catch-up or ongoing monthly bookkeeping.
Making the most of your experience
Timely completion of your onboarding tasks is key. Without them, we won’t be able to keep your books accurate and IRS-compliant.
